Summer Learning Journey | Day 2

Summer Learning Journey
12|19|2017

Activity 1
Between my house and a wharepuni they both actually do look alike, except my house is made of bricks and the roof is not hatched. There is also lots of rooms but with the Wharepuni there looks as if there is only one main hall.

Activity 2
My dream job is to be a professional makeup artist.

Bonus Activity
My favourite snack or foods is fruit skewers. Especially on hot days because it always cools me down somehow.

Hey Moana!

Great job on the activities so far! I think you're right, the wharepuni is quite similar to a house and like you identified, a wharepuni usually has one big space for everyone, rather than lots of smaller rooms like a house.

I think being a professional makeup artist would be a super fun job! You'd get to make people feel happy and look good. I always wanted to open up my own nail salon because I loved doing mine and my friends nails. What inspired you to want to be a professional makeup artist?

Keep up the great work!

Nicky :)

Hi Moana!

My name is Ellee, I am another part of the Summer Learning Journey Crew that is commenting on your blogs this summer.
Looks like you have made a great start to the activities this summer, awesome work!

Thank you for sharing the similarities and differences you have managed to find between your house and a wharepuni, awesome work! I really like the carvings that are on the wharepuni, I think it would be pretty cool if we had these on our houses now, what do you think?

Wow! what a cool dream job! very creative.
What made you want to be a make-up artist? Maybe you can teach me some tips and tricks...I've never been too good at make-up! :)
Do you have a make-up artist you look up to?

Hopefully we'll see you back blogging soon Moana!
Ellee :)
