Persuasive Letter

Dear Mr Hendricks…….

You always say that every sport is an opportunity. But honestly we would like to pick sports we like. For example the boys get put in soccer and Volleyball when they want to play Basketball and Rugby. The girls get put into Netball and Volleyball when they want to play touch or something else. Therefore you should let the year 7 and 8 students organise the mini olympics for the senior school.

We are getting sick of not being given choices.  In most school events, teachers organise them and they often choose things that we don’t like or agree with. For once we would like to do things our way so give us the chance.

Planning this event  will give us the chance to also learn what other people are like and to learn how to negotiate. We may have an argument on the choices we make but we will learn that we have to come agreement in the end.

Finally I believe that students are getting more and more bored and lazy when the teachers pick the games because they are not interested. If we picked our own games it will be more fun and we will be keen to take part.

Therefore Mr Hendricks I believe that you should  let us plan this event.

Sincerely Yours
Moana

YOUR NEVER LOOKING AFTER HIM AND HE HAS NO TALENTS”! As I heard the last words of my mum I ran outside to find my innocent dog. Scanning all over the grubby house and around the backyard I gave up hope. As I moped inside I heard and unusual bark as if something bad yet enchanting was happening. This was a big problem.

So I ran and ran through twigs on the muddy ground through the forest  with glass going right through my shoe but I didn’t care at that point. Finally I saw it……..

My tiny beagle running on the icy cold water in the middle of the lake. “Here boy, come here” I said in a terrified voice afraid of loosing my sweet puppy. As I got the courage I was about to jump into the water when Jessie just ran to me. I was truly amazed. That gave me an idea.

Coming to the water every single day teaching my dog how to properly walk on water for the Dog Talent Show that was happening in the park the exact same night. Finally we were ready.

While we were backstage I got Jessie's vest on and we were basically ready. “ Our next act is a 12 year old girl and her pet beagle Jessie”!!!!!!!! As my hands and legs were shaking I had the courage to walk up on stage. Putting Jessie on the board he jumped in.”Lalalalalalalalalalala” I shot up like an arrow and oh.

THIS WAS ALL A DREAM!!!!!! Uggggh.

Why should our organs be donated?

Why should our organs be donated? I personally think that organs should only be donated when you have died because you may need you lungs or heart, maybe not as much as someone else may need but you do have to matter to. When you're eighteen or so you get the choice to become a donor. Organ donors save many lives because they may give theirs up for someone else. There are many companies and you're very lucky if you do get a donor because they are hard to find. In conclusion I do think that organs should be donated when you pass because someone in grave danger could be saved by you.

Another reason is that when you die you don't need any of the organs that are left in your body.

My last reason is that you may be helping a kid. NOBODY wants to see a kid die neither with adults.

Organ donors are needed in the world.

Descriptive Story

As I waved Mikaela a friendly goodbye and strolled back inside back to my room. OH MY GOD.

Rubbish everywhere and a revolting smell in the air. Rotten fruit and a dead mouse in the east corner of the room. Clothes  everywhere and draws open with cracked toys all over the grubby floor. Brushes filled with overwhelming hair that you could never imagine. Opened boxes with terrifying spiders climbing out. So I stopped myself from vomiting and got to work on this filthy room.

Left and Right I went picking up all the rubbish on the contaminated floor along with all the unclean laundry. I neatly folded up all the clean clothes and steadily vacuumed up all of the insects. I scanned the room and put all of my toys back where they were supposed to be. “Ahhh Lovely”. I laid back and had a nice relaxing day………. Or what I thought.

Lemon Yoghurt Cupcake Stroy

On a bright sunny tuesday morning room seven was going to be making some yummy cupcakes. But they weren’t any type of cupcakes. They were delicious Lemon Yoghurt Cupcakes.

First we had to grate the ride off of a lemon. In the process of the grating it looked a bit weird from my perspective. We added ⅓ cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 1 cup of oil then we continue we have to mix. Then when it's got the consistency that you want. After that add ½ a tsp of salt, 1 cup of yoghurt,2 tablespoons of lemon juice and then you mix again. Lastly add 2 cups of self raising flour and of course MIX!!!! Thats your cupcake mix and just cook it like a normal cupcake.

We all had to go back to class as Ms Lasmis was going to be giving our cupcakes after they were cooked.

Not so long after we left the hall our cupcakes we ready. As my cupcake was set on my table I was literally drooling.

As the cupcake sat on my desk I was looking at its flawless bumpy top and the slightly burnt bottom. I smelt the reluctant lemon as I looked at it ready to take a bite. “Mmmmmm” ripe lemon rushing town my throat and a crusty cake was absolutely amazful.

This is definitely something I will make at home.

Chocolate Tasting

CHOCOLATE
As Mrs Tuakoi announced that we were going to be tasting chocolate my taste buds jumped with joy. As she handed out the chocolate I felt very please with my portion that I got. As it sat there on my desk I lifted it up to my nose.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
It smelt like creamy goodness as it presses up against me. I can smell all of the ingredients mixing up to make this little piece of godliness.

I can see the brown chocolaty goodness and I can also see the lines cutting through this little beauty. I can feel this smooth nourishment in my palms as it just slides through. As I take a deep breath in its time to taste it. Oh my goodness.

Creamy chocolate splashing all around my mouth. I reach for another bite. As the chocolate melts in my mouth it feels gooey after a while. This is absolutely gorgeous. As I lick my fingers I crave for more but I know I can’t get it. That was very yummy.

I wanted more chocolate when we were done

Circulatory System

  1. What is the purpose of the circulatory system?
The purpose of the circulatory system is to transport gases in your body to the places it needs to go.

     (2) Identify the parts of the respiratory system……
There is the Circulatory, Trachea, Bronchi, Sacs, Alveoli and the Diaphragm.

    (3) What is the function of the Alveoli?
The function part is that it diffuses oxygen to your blood.

(4) How does the body get rid of carbon dioxide?
The body breathes into your body and when you exhale all of the Carbon released out.

(5) How does your body make room for a deep breath?
The bronch tube gets smaller and smaller the more your breath in. But when you find you can’t breathe in anymore that means that the bronchi has no more room and that its is too small.
