Miracle in the Sky

As I leap from one puddle to another I feel a giant knot of fear churning in my stomach. Firstly I see a spark of frightening light whizz across the sky. Thunder pounding through my ears and hail smashing the ground with fierce instant rain thrashing the grass. I stand there beneath my mother's dark black umbrella and gaze at the miserable grey sky.

Strolling back to the house I immediately spring back as I hear a groaning sound coming from the sky. I look up and what I see is petrifying………

Black scaly sickening skin with a hint of yellow around the edge of the fin. Cracked sharp teeth with green gloomy eyes that give you goosebumps when you stare at them. I don’t know is this was a fish or monster and I definitely don’t want to find out.

As they splash around in the rain, I feel there presence lowering down and down nearly reaching to the ground. They zoom past us going as quick at flash making sure they just nip our hair. Trying to run in fear we are unable to go anywhere.

As our adrenalin is pumping seconds later they just disappear in the icy cold wind. Looking back and forth we are unable to find them but excited at the same time..
Walking down to the house, with our gumboots filled with water, soaked hair and saturated raincoats we wonder what we had just experienced whether it was real or not.

Narrative Story

YOUR NEVER LOOKING AFTER HIM AND HE HAS NO TALENTS”! As I heard the last words of my mum I ran outside to find my innocent dog. Scanning all over the grubby house and around the backyard I gave up hope. As I moped inside I heard and unusual bark as if something bad yet enchanting was happening. This was a big problem.

So I ran and ran through twigs on the muddy ground through the forest  with glass going right through my shoe but I didn’t care at that point. Finally I saw it……..

My tiny beagle running on the icy cold water in the middle of the lake. “Here boy, come here” I said in a terrified voice afraid of loosing my sweet puppy. As I got the courage I was about to jump into the water when Jessie just ran to me. I was truly amazed. That gave me an idea.

Coming to the water every single day teaching my dog how to properly walk on water for the Dog Talent Show that was happening in the park the exact same night. Finally we were ready.

While we were backstage I got Jessie's vest on and we were basically ready. “ Our next act is a 12 year old girl and her pet beagle Jessie”!!!!!!!! As my hands and legs were shaking I had the courage to walk up on stage. Putting Jessie on the board he jumped in.”Lalalalalalalalalalala” I shot up like an arrow and oh.

THIS WAS ALL A DREAM!!!!!! Uggggh.
